RETURN OF ANATOLIAN
ARTIFACTS TO TURKISH
MUSEUMS:

Inspired by Turkey Design Council’s recent project From Ancient Anatolian Crafts to Contemporary Designs, as well as the council’s other innovative cultural heritage projects, I want to uncover and share the relationship between repatriated ancient objects and modern communities. I hope to meet and to learn from students and professionals who work in design, cultural heritage, archaeology, and museum studies. My goal is to get the perspectives and guidance of individuals from diverse research backgrounds so that this project may serve as an inception point for interdisciplinary work around repatriation and museum design.
